Youth Exchange in Griechenland

Best project in seahorse village Stratoni (Greece)
10 days, many workshops, laughters, naps at the beach and new friendships later I have to return to cold and rainy Germany. Shit. But I have a smile on my face because I made beautiful memories that no one can ever take away from me and that I will never forget.
We did not only learn about human rights, media campaignes, creating podcasts and videos and many more skills. We also learned from each other and day by day strangers became friends.
We learned about the incredibly large amounts of gods in Hinduism.
We learned how to dance traditional Greek dances thanks to the locals in Stratoni.
We learned about the current situation in Afghanistan.
To sum it up, we learned from each other by opening up and listening to the stories and truths of each other. Personally, that was one of the most enriching and memorable parts of the project.
16 participants from 8 different nationalities, different languages, religion, ages, cultures and lifestyles coming together to work on raising awareness about human rights. That gives me hope for our future and for peace!
